6 Reliance Fresh stores opened in Indore

Indore, May 16 (UNI) Amidst reports of sporadic protests by local vegetable and fruit retailers, six Reliance Fresh stores of Reliance Retail opened here today.

Heavy police presence was made outside the stores in view of threats by retail vegetable vendors. The retail vendors reached at Vijaynagar store and some other places but stopped due to police presence.

Fruit, vegetables, milk products etc would be available at the stores.

Yesterday, Malwa Mill Vegetables and Fruit Retailers Union staged a protest demonstration in the Malwa Mill area and burnt Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani in effigy.
