27 units sealed by MCD in seven zones

New Delhi, May 16 (UNI) Continuing with its drive to seal commercial units operating in violation of the 2021 Delhi Master Plan, the MCD today sealed 27 units in seven zones of the city.

No action could be carried out in Janak Puri in West Zone as the Police department withdrew force, an MCD spokesperson said.

Commercial units were sealed in Lajpat Nagar in Central zone, G T Road in Civil lines, Rani Bagh in Rohini, Jagat Puri in Shahdara (North) and Pandav Nagar in Shahdara (South) zone, he said.

Ten units were sealed in Civil lines zone, nine in Shahdara (North) and three in Rohini zone, the spokesperson added.
