Woman Principal arrested for dishonouring Ambedker's photos

Phagwara, May 15 (UNI) Police today arrested a woman Principal of a government school on the charges of showing disrespect to the photos of Dr B R Ambedeker in the school.

The action of police against Kailashwati, Principal Government Sr Sec School, Bhularai, came after a heavy protest-cum-demonstration of Ambedeker Sena and Village Panchayat members.

The Principal, arrested under section 295A IPC, was produced before local judicial magistrate, who sent her in judicial custody till May 29.
