Motherson Sumi buys assets of Australia's Empire Rubber
New Delhi, May 15 (UNI) Auto parts maker Motherson Sumi Systems Ltd today said it has bought the business and assets of Australia-based Empire Rubber.
The acquisition of the rubber mixing, rubber extruded components manufacturer is expected to generate an annual business of 35 million Australian dollars giving it an access for supply of these components to automotive OEM's and Tier-I suppliers as well as non-automotive customers, Motherson said in a statement.
The buyout was done from Huon Corporation Pty Ltd through company's subsidiaries, Motherson Elastomers Pty Ltd and Motherson Investments Pty Ltd.
