New Delhi, May 14 (UNI) The Delhi Police today questioned two of the four MPs involved in the human trafficking racket for over an hour at its R K Puram office in South Delhi.

Mitrasen Yadav, MP from Faizabad in Uttar Pradesh, and Ashok Rawat, MP from Misrikh (UP), were questioned for over one hour by Crime Branch sleuths in the presence of top officials, including an Additional Commissioner, a DCP and an ACP, said a senior police official.

Both the BSP parliamentarians are among the four MPs, named by an accused in the human trafficking racket and intimated twice with police notices to cooperate in the investigation.

Though exact contents of the 'interrogation' were not known the official said the questioning revolved around the depth of their involvement in the racket.

Senior Crime Branch officils refused to comment on the questioning.

However, the police said two other parliamentarians -- Mohammad Tahir Khan (BSP MP from Sultanpur) and Ramswaroop Koli (BJP MP from Bayana in Rajasthan) -- who are yet to appear for questioning, would be issued fresh notices to 'cooperate' in the investigations.

''This will be the third round of notices being sent to the MPs,'' it added.

Initially the Delhi Police had sent notices to the four MPs on April 23 to which they replied seeking more time to 'appear' for investigations due to busy campaigning schedules in view of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.

Police sought their 'cooperation' after a travel agent, Sunder Lal Yadav, during probe into the trafficking scam revealed in a city court last month that Mohammad Tahir Khan and Ramswaroop Koli were key elements in the smuggling racket involving sending people abroad through forged documents or on diplomatic passports of the MPs family members.
