Samsung launches 'Trio' at Rs 11,990-Rs 12,990

New Delhi, May 14 (UNI) Samsung India today launched its new Microwave oven series, 'Trio' in the market, available in 28 litres and priced at Rs 11,990 and Rs 12,990.

The 'Trio' series of Samsung Microwave ovens is differentiated on account of its triple heaters - Ceramic, Quartz (for grilling) and Sheath Heater (for convection) -thereby giving outstanding cooking performance, speedy cooking, compact design and greater energy efficiency.

''In addition to our new product lineup, we are promoting our Microwave Oven business through cooking classes and live demonstrations of the product at our ongoing Samsung Dream Home Road Shows,'' said Samsung India Director (Sales) Pradeep Tognatta in a statement here.

The oven has a slim and compact design (17mm less), such that it can be easily placed on a small countertop. The Trio has a rectangular control panel and a simple user interface.

It uses the optimal combination of various heat sources to deliver a better performance in an energy efficient manner.

With the introduction of 'Trio', Samsung has eight models of Convection Microwave ovens in its lineup in the 28L to 37L capacity range.

Samsung India has a range of fifteen Microwave Ovens in the Indian market, available between 20 litres-37 litres priced in the range between Rs 4,690-Rs 17,990.
