Raje hard sells Rajasthan as investment destination

Jaipur, May 14 (UNI) Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje haS promoted Rajasthan as an investment friendly destination to the business community in the United Arab Emerates.

The Chief Minister who is on an eight-day visit to the UAE and the United States said to the business community in the UAE that Rajasthan was the most peaceful, investment friendly destination offering good infrastructure for industry.

Ms Raje said this during the inauguration of the India Festival 2007. She said the pro active policy intervention by the BJP government in the last three years have made a turnaround in the pace development in the state.

''The government have accorded the highest priority to the creation of sustainable livlehoods to the weaker sections and at the same time put in place mechanisms for investors to participate in creating a better and brighter Rajasthan''.

Ms Raje narrated the success story of the public private partnership in the field of roads, energy, health care, education, water conservation and food security and asked the international community to become partner in the developemnt of the state.

Ms Raje mentioned the new integrated township policy , new hotel policy, and the bio-feul policy initiatives aimed at boosting investment opportunities.
