Police arrest CPI(M) workers trying to grab govt land

Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, May 14 (UNI) CPI(M) is continuing its land-grabbing movement demanding dwellings for the poor. Today party workers had tried to occupy the government lands in the Durga Colony area of the town in the native district of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

On information, police entered the spot and dispersed the mob.

They arrested those who were adamant to leave.

As a precautionary measure, district authorities had posted policemen at all government lands.
