Pak, Bangladesh trying to destabilise Indian economy: BJP
Kochi, May 14 (UNI) BJP National Secretary N Indra Sena Reddy today alleged that neighbouring countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh were trying to destabilise the Indian economy.
''As Pakistan and Bangladesh can not directly fight with us, they are trying to destabilise the Indian economy by pumping counterfeit currency into the country,'' he told reporters here.
''These countries were also targeting the research and scientific establishments to arrest the growth of our country,'' he alleged.
Mr Sena also claimed that Kerala was a breeding ground for ISI activities.
''The ISI wants to create communal disharmony in the country and that is why they are attacking sensitive places like Ayodhya and Parliament,'' he said.
When asked on the BJP's poor showing in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls, Mr Sena said the party would deliberate on 'what went wrong' after the coming assembly elections in Goa.
