6 children drowned in Ganga in Chunnar area

Mirzapur, May 14 (UNI) At least six children drowned in river Ganga in Chunnar area here today.

Police said the mishap took place in Barsaatpur village, where a group of children went to take a bath.

The deceased were later identified as Mili (12), Rinku (6), Pintu (12), Sunita (10), Somnath (12) and Satish (13).

A case has been registered.
