Six people of a family killed in road mishap in Shimoga District

Bangalore, May 13(UNI) Six people of a family were killed and another seriously injured when a car in which they were travelling collided head-on with a truck near Talaguppa in Sagar taluk in Shimoga district this afternoon.

According to police, while four people, including two female child died on the spot, two others succumbed to injuries on the way to hospital.

The victims were returning to Bangalore after a picnic to the world-famous Jog Falls.

The injured was admitted to government hospital in Shimoga.
