CRPF jawans neutralised five naxals in the jungles of Jharkhand

New Delhi, May 12 (UNI) In an intense gun fight, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) today successfully neutralised five hardcore naxals in the jungles of village Tutitola under Bhandariya police station of Garhwa district in Jharkhand.

According to an official release issued here today, two companies of CRPF jawans of 13 battalion led by Assistant Commandant Kanhaya Singh undertook the mission at around 1300 hours this afternoon.

The neutralised naxals included two women cadres all dressed in uniform.

The CRPF troops also recovered a huge cache of arms and amunitions which included four Self Loading Rifles, one AKM Rifle and one .315 bore rifle and other objectionable materials.

The Director General of CRPF has complimented the battalion by announcing a handsome reward to all the particpating troops, the release added.
