Antique idols worth crores of rupees recovered

New Delhi, May 12 (UNI) The Delhi police today claimed to have arrested three persons in possession of antique idols worth crores of rupees.

According to a press release, the crime branch received a tip off that a man called Zengpo carrying antique idols would visit Civil lines looking for a prospective customer.

A raiding party, formed to bust the gang, apprehended three persons carrying two idols, one was of Lord Ganesha and another a sculpture of Tara devi.

They were identified as Deepak, Tenjing Zengpo and Sandeep.

The estimated price of the idols are four to six crore.
