Youth Congress to launch 'Yuva Jagriti Abhiyaan' from May 13
Ranchi, May 11 (UNI) To strengthen the youth brigade, the Youth Congress in Jharkhand would launch its 'Yuva Jagriti Abhiyaan' from May 13 from the steel city, Jamshedpur.
President of Jharkhand Youth Congress Jai Shanker Pathak said here today that the party had decided to launch a four-phase programme in presence of Union Labour Minister Oscar Fernandes and party's national president Ashok Tanwar. He added that areas of Kolhan commissionary would be covered in the first phase beginning May 13 to 17.
Mr Pathak said the areas of Santhal Parganas, North Chhotanagpur and South Chhotanagpur would be covered in consecutive second, third and fourth phases.
Focus would be on creating awareness among the youths about Right to Information Act and National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, he added.
