Rs 48 Lakh distributed in Panchayats of Phillaur

Phagwara, May 11 (UNI) Punjab Chief Parliamentry Secretary Sarwan Singh Phillaur today distributed grants of Rs 48 Lakhs from Rural Development Funds to various village Panchayats of Phillaur sub division in a function held at Phillaur today.

He also distributed an amount of Rs seven lakh for 'shagan scheme' at a Sangat Darshan programme in which 33 out of 46 complaints of the people were solved on the spot.

Mr Phillaur promised to hold Sangat Darshan programme at Phillaur on every Friday. He said that SAD-BJP Government was actively working to fulfill its all poll promises made during assembly elections compaign and its Atta Dal Scheme would be introduced by August 15.
