Karnataka Minister lauds role of 'krishi mahotsavs'

Anand, May 11 (UNI) Karnataka Agriculture Minister Bandeppa Kasempur has lauded the role of ''Krishi Mahotsavs'' in reaching the benefits of agricultural research to the farmers.

He was speaking at the Krishi Mahotsav held at Waghasi village near here.

Mr Kasempur said because of such ''mahotsavs'', the agricultural research findings are reaching the farmers. He urged the youth to take up agriculture business.

The Karnataka Minister also visited a banana plantation and the Anand Agriculture University.
