Japanese Consulate-Gen's advice to WB to go Gujarat way

Gandhinagar, May 11 (UNI) Kolkata-based Consulate General of Japan Monoyoshi Noro has advised the West Bengal government to follow the Gujarat government's way to develop tie-ups for business and economy development between West Bengal and Japan.

Mr Noro urged the West Bengal government to drop its negative impression against investing in Japan and build up trade ties through cultural exchange, the way Gujarat government has done, according to a Gujarat government release here today.

Mr Noro gave the example of Chief Minister Narendra Modi who took a delegation to Japan recently, where he had given his government's presentation in Japanese language.
