Two killed and two HM militants arrested in Kashmir

Srinagar May 10 (UNI) Two persons, including a woman were killed while two militants of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) were arrested by the security forces in the Kashmir valley overnight.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Kupwara, Vijay Kumar said after successful operation at Dard Hari by police and troops, in which five militants were killed yesterday, two militants were arrested today.

He identified the militants as Bilal Ahmad Mir and Abdul Majid Wani. They were working as guide for militants and helping them to cross the Line of Control (LoC).

A police spokesman said body of a woman was fished out from river Jehlum at Hajin while another body was recovered at Puhroo last night.
