Truck enters marriage pandal, 4 killed

Jabalpur, May 10 (UNI) Four people were killed and 10 others injured as a speeding truck ploughed through a gathering at a marriage reception at Devari village near Panagar in this district last night.

Police said the driver lost control of the vehicle, which entered the road-side pandal where the guests were taking meal. After the driver fled the spot the agitated people pushed the vehicle out of the pandal and set it ablaze.

The injured, includng children, were immediately rushed to the district hospital, where 4 people, including an 8-year-old boy, succumbed to injuries.
