Tricom India flexes muscle by expanding its operational base
New Delhi, May 10 (UNI) Tricom India Ltd today announced its expansion plans in Nashik by acquiring 10,000 sq ft facility in Satpur Industrial Area.
Augmenting its already existing premises, the expansion plans to add 250 more employees to its existing strength of 400 employees in Nashik, will begin its operations by the first week of July.
The existing facilty in Nashik was opened in January 2007 with 10,000 sq ft area and with the current expansion, the company's headcount would reach 650 employees with 20,000 sq ft area under its belt.
The company in a statement said it has plans to acquire another 10,000 sq ft area with additional 250 employees in the second quarter of financial year 2007-08.
"This expansion in Nashik will enable Tricom to widen its base in India and tap more opportunities available in overseas market for data processing,'' said MD Tricom Chetan Kothari.
Nashik's proximity to Mumbai, its status as a developing city and also an upcoming IT hub appealed to us to expand our base in Nashik, he added.
