Sheila Dixit's apology end of the matter, says Cong

New Delhi, May 10 (UNI) The Congress today said the matter relating to the controvesy over Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit's observations on the people of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh should be dropped after the apology tendered by her.

Congress Spokesman Abhishek Singhvi told reporters here that the Chief Minister had already stated that there was no intention on her part to hurt the feelings of anybody by her remark.But if the people had felt hurt by her remark,she had expresed her apology.

If her intention had really been to hurt any body, then certainly it would have been a issue, but it was not so, Mr Singhvi said, adding unnecessarily some people had read a meaning in her remark.
