NMCE launches new futures contract in Soya oil, Guar seed, Chana

Ahmedabad, May 10 (UNI) The National Multi-Commodity Exchange (NMCE) today launched a new series in Soya oil, Guar seed and Chana desi futures contracts.

The new contracts in Soya oil and Guar seed will expire on September 20, and that in Chana on November 20. The first delivery day begins three days ahead of the maturity date on September 17 and November 17 respectively.

The delivery centre for Soya oil is Indore in Madhya Pradesh and for Guar seed are Jodhpur, Bikaner and Nokha in Rajasthan, and Deesa in Gujarat with freight discount through Central Warehouse Corporation (CWC) receipt. The delivery centre for Chana is CWC, Delhi.

At present, NMCE runs futures contracts in 196 series in 70 commodities, including bullion, non-ferrous base metals, rubber, cardamom, pepper and raw jute.
