Ministry of Water Resources website redesigned

New Delhi, May 10 (UNI) Ministry of Water Resources today re-launched its redesigned bilingual website.

Launching the website, Union Minister of Water Resources Saifuddin Soz said his Ministry's working would be transparent and dissemination of information will now be easier. ''The website has now become comprehensive after regular updations both in English and Hindi,'' he said.

An integrated search engine facility has been provided to facilitate the common user with special emphasis on cyber security.

The redesigning was carried out to implement Information Technology Strategic Plan to enable dissemination and access information about the Ministry for general users, employees and citizens. It also aims at enhancing coordination among the States, Union Territories, other ministries and Government Departments.

The redesigned website can be accessed on www.mowr.gov.in.
