Lok Sabha adjourned for the day on Delhi CM's remarks

New Delhi, May 10 (UNI) The Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day today shortly after the Question Hour as members from all sides trooped into the well, shouting slogans against Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit for her reported remarks against the influx of people into the city from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and other states.

Speaker Somnath Chatterjee adjourned the House after announcing amid din the resignation of Churchil Alemao from the membership of the Lok Sabha. He said he had accepted the resignation with effect from May 8, 2007, the day he had received it from the member.
