EDUSAT system to connect 9080 schools in Haryana

Chandigarh, May 10 (UNI) All the 9080 Primary Schools in Haryana will be connected through EDUSAT System which will be the largest network of the world in the field of distance education.

An official spokesman said all the science stream Government Senior Secondary Schools of the state had been connected through EDUSAT system.

He said a record had been set up by opening 103 new Science Senior Secondary Schools within the year and all these schools were functioning from the current academic session. The coaching for All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) was given through EDUSAT.

He said after connecting all the primary schools of the State with EDUSAT a new era in the field of the education will start.

The state government had taken various steps to improve the quality of education. The semester system was appreciated by the teachers, the students and their parents.
