BJP flays appointment of Parliamentary Secretaries

Itanagar, May 10 (UNI) The Arunachal Pradesh BJP today alleged violation of the ''anti-defection'' rule in the recent appointment of MLAs to the post of Parliamentary Secretaries.

The party in a statement here blamed that despite the state government's commitment to check corruption, it had followed the path of its predecessor and said the appointments would be a ''burden'' on the state coffer by going for more number of Ministers.

'' We would keep a strict watch on the performance of the government and not compromise on any injustice meted out to the people and mismanagement by the government, '' the statement added.
