7 employees suspended for negligence of duty

Chandigarh, May 10 (UNI) Haryana Education Minister Phool Chand Mullana today inspected several schools of Karnal and Panipat districts and suspended seven employees who were found negligent in performing their duties.

An official spokesman said during these surprise visits, teachers were found absent from their duties and there was no zero hour in some of the schools which was an essential requirement of the school timetable.

The Minister visited the Government Senior Secondary School Shyamgarh in district Karnal and found that the Principal and the Maths teacher were not present in the school and both of these employees did not send any leave application. The Minister suspended both the employees with immediate effect.

The Minister also inspected the office of the District Project Coordinator Panipat and found Head Clerk Mian Singh, Clerk Naresh Kumar and Peon Vijay absent from their duties.

He also inspected Government Sanskriti Senior Secondary Model School, Panipat and found that the Librarian and a Clerk were absent from their duties. The Minister placed both these employees under suspension with immediate effect.
