48 units sealed by MCD in seven zones

New Delhi, May 10 (UNI) Continuing with its drive to seal commercial units operating in violation of the 2021 Delhi Master Plan, the MCD today sealed 48 units in seven zones of the city.

The areas where the commercial units were sealed are Lajpat Nagar in Central zone, Mahavir Enclave in Nazafgarh and Ganesh Nagar in Shahdara(South) zone, an MCD spokesperson said.

16 units were sealed in South zone, 11 in Central zone and seven units were sealed in Shahdara(North), the spokesperson said.

With today's sealing the total number of units put to seal by the MCD since the drive began on March 28 is 1482.
