17 injured after bus overturns in Sangrur

Sangrur, May 10 (UNI) At least 17 persons including the driver were injured when the bus in which they were travelling overturned near Khilria village on Dhuri road today, police said.

The accident took place when the bus driver tried to save a cyclist from being crushed. The vehicle went out of control and overturned after falling into a roadside ditch.

All the injured were admitted to the local civil hospital.
