Shopkeeper shoots fellow shop owner in Punjab

Gurdaspur, May 9 (UNI) A shopkeeper shot dead another shop owner in Dhariwal town of the district this afternoon, police here said.

According to the police, the alleged culprit identified as Bunty fired at Jaspal Singh from a pistol and killed him on the spot. He then surrendered before the police and was arrested.

Investigations revealed that the arrested man suspected that his wife had extra marital relations with the victim. The wife was also taken into custody.
