Officers not listening to minority committee's recommends:Chairman
Hazaribagh, May 9 (UNI) Asserting that administrative officers were not paying attention to minority commission's recommendations, Jharkhand Minority Commission Chairman Nirmal Kumar Chatterjee today demanded that the commission be given constitutional right to take action against the officials.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Chatterjee said the dream of minority's welfare would come to reality only when the commission was emboldened by those rights.
Citing an example, Mr Chatterjee said the two years back state minority commission had recommended Rs 20 lakh each for development of five minority schools in the state but no action had been taken.
Admitting that minorities were not getting facilities, he said the commission could not do much because of its limitations.
