Nitish fails to maintain law and order in Bihar: Rabri
Patna, May 9 (UNI) Former Bihar chief minister Rabri Devi today condemned the Nitish Kumar government for increasing crime in the state and charged the government with being apathetic towards the safety and security of people.
Highlighting recent criminal incidents, she said an innocent child was killed by his abductors and another child abducted recently from Gaya only because of the inertness of police.
She also referred to the recent killings of a trader and a contractor in the state capital and alleged that both killings were the outcome of the ineffectiveness of the police.
Pointing to a ruling of the Supereme Court issued earlier, Ms Rabri Devi demanded the state government to segregate the law and order works and crime investigation for better functioning.
