NBW against Bihar police society federation

Patna, May 9 (UNI) A local court today issued Non-Bailable Warrant (NBW) of arrest against the 'Bihar Police Society Federation' and its three senior officials in a case relating to cheating and criminal breach of trust.

First class judicial magistrate of Patna S K Mishra passed the order following a complaint filed by a former minister of Bihar Ramvilash Singh. The court issued NBW against the federation, its Chairman Birendra Prasad Singh,Vice-Chairman Prabhakar Upadhayay and Secretery Ashok Kumar Patel.

According to the charges, Mr Singh had opened an account in the bank of federation and deposited more than Rs two lakhs in it. But when he wanted to withdraw some amount it was declined on the plea that there was no fund in the federation account.
