Khazana targets Rs 1000 crore turnover for 2007-08

Tirupati, May 9 (UNI) Khazana Jewellery, the largest jewellery manufacturer in South India, has put its target business turnover for the year 2007-2008 at Rs 1000 crore as against Rs 500 crore last year by expanding its business in Andhra Pradesh, Khazana Jewellery Manager Kishor Jain said here today.

Addressing a press conference, he said Khazana was the first to introduce a photo-guarantee card in India to ensure that the customer was not loosing a single rupee in gold value while selling or melting the ornament.

The first showroom was opened at Nellore in Andhra Pradesh. More showrooms would be opened at Guntur, Rajamundry and Vijayawada shortly as part of the expansion programme.

Khazana Jewellery, manufacturing from Chennai, Kolkatta, Mumbai Rajkot and Coimbatore had showrooms at T Nagar in Tamil Nadu, Somajiguda in Hyderabad.
