Jaya urges Centre to dismiss TN Govt

Chennai, May 9 (UNI) AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa today urged the Centre to dismiss the DMK-led government in Tamil Nadu as it failed to protect law and order in the state.

In a statement here, Ms Jaya said the brutal incident at Tamil daily office in Madurai, where three people were killed, showed the government's failure in maintaining law and order in the state.

Though Sun TV clearly showed the miscreants behind the attack at the newspaper office, the police department, which comes under the Chief Minister, had failed to initiate any action against the culprits.

She alleged that the police remained as a mere spectator to the whole incident.

The former Chief Minister alleged that the incident clearly showed the internal power struggle in Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's family.
