Gulbarga policemen gets cash reward for nabbing LeT militant

Gulbarga, May 9 (UNI) Karnataka Director General of Police K Srinivasan has announced cash rewards and Good Service Entry awards to the police personal of this city who played key role in nabbing a Lashkar-e-Taiba militant in Gulbarga last year.

Officials said that the DGP had announced cash rewards to all the police personal who took part in the operation. ASP Ravi Kumar Nayak, DSP (rural) S S Nayak, Inspectors Nandakumar, Sudeer Hegde, B M Hugar, Sadanand Thippan and Sub Inspector Dayanand were among those who were rewarded.

It may be noted that the city police arrested LeT militant Abdul Rehman on March 30 last year.
