'Consecration of Yoha Narasimhaswamy temple taken'
Chennai, May 9: The Tamil Nadu government was taking steps for consecration of the ancient Lord Yoha Narasimha swamy temple at Sholingur, about 125 km from here, HR and CE Minister K R Periyakaruppan told the State Assembly today.
Replying to Mr Arul Anbarasu (Congress) during question hour, he said the consecration works, to be executed at a cost of Rs four crore, commenced on February 28.
The works would be completed soon and Mahakumbabishekham would be performed, he added.
Replying to supplementaries, the Minister said the government was also taking steps to install rope car facility to the temple, situated atop the hills at a height of nearly 500 ft.
