BJP leaders mourn death of Pulla Reddy

Hyderabad, May 9 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy mourned the death of noted sweetmaker and philanthropist G Pulla Reddy here today.

Dr Reddy, who was on an official visit to the US, said in a message that Mr Reddy came up in life through hardwork and the younger generation should be inspired by his life.

BJP State unit President Bandaru Dattatreya, former Union Minister Ch Vidyasagara Rao and party office Secretary K V S S Raju also mourned the death.

They said that born in a poor farmer's family, he came up in life through sheer hardwork. His devotion to Hinduism and commitment to the construction of 'Ramalayam' were unforgettable, they added.

The BJP leaders said he had managed the Ganesh Utsav for several years without a hitch and with great efficiency. They expressed their sympathies to his family members in their hour of grief.
