Wall collapse in Azadpur kills 3, injures 11

New Delhi, May 8 (UNI) Three people were killed and 11 others injured when the wall of a house near North Delhi's Azadpur collapsed this evening.

At 1646 hrs, the terrace wall of an under construction room of Nirmal Sukh Ashram at Singhu Village at Alipur near Azadur collapsed just when a public 'Langar' (community kitchen) was going on in its premises, police said.

14 people were injured in the wall collapse. Three of the injured sucummbed to their injuries at the Hari Chand hospital later. The deceased have been identified as 36-year-old Krishna Kumar, 60-year-old Dallo Singh and Ram Kumar Singh.

The other injured were admitted to various nearby hospitals, they said.
