Two-member Hurriyat delegation to participate in OIC meeting in Pak

Srinagar, May 8 (UNI) A two-member delegation of Hurriyat Conference (Mirwaiz) will attend a three-day Foreign Ministers conference of Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) in Pakistan.

A spokesman of the Hurriyat Conference (HC) said the decision was taken at a meeting of general council members at its Rajbagh headquarter here today.

He said the two members--Aga Syed Hassan Almousvi Alsafvi and Fazal Haq Qureshi--would represent the amalgam in the conference and highlight the Human Rights violations.

He said the HC leaders would brief the OIC members about the ground situation in Jammu and Kashmir and the problems being faced by the people.

He said the delegation members would appeal to OIC leaders to pressurise the Indian authorities to resolve the Kashmir issue.
