Six killed, 10 injured in bus-van collision

Rajkot, May 8 (UNI) Six persons were killed and ten others injured in a collision between mini luxury bus and a van near Sardhar, about 40 km from here, on Rajkot-Bhavnagar highway early today.

The incident occurred when the mini bus, which was on its way to Rajkot from Bhavnagar, collided with a van. The accident occurred at around 0200 hrs, police said.

The police have identified four of the six dead. They are Raju Gondaliya (25), Narbheram Patel (45), Yashwantsinh Zala (21) and Gobarbhai Koli (45). The identity of two others is yet to be ascertained.

All the injured have been admitted to civil hospital at Rajkot, police added.
