Rajasthan reeling under heat wave
Jaipur, May 8 (UNI) Many parts of Rajasthan are reeling under intense heat wave with mercury touching 44.4 degree Celsius in Ganganagar district.
The state capital Jaipur recorded a maximum temperature of 42.3 degree Celsius while minimum temperature has been around 25.3 degree C.
According to weather office heat wave with sand stroms will continue to persist in the desert areas of Barmer, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Bikaner.
The maximum temperture recorded at Bikaneer 44, Churu 43.8, Jaisalmer 43.7, Kota 43.4, Jodhpur 43, Barmer 42, Ajmer 42.5, and Udaipur 41.4 degree C.
