Prakash not to contest in the elections,but to remain in politics
Mysore, May 8 (UNI) Senior Janata Dal(Secular) leader and Karnataka Minister for Home M P Prakash today clarified that he will not contest in the elections, but remain active in the politics.
Speaking to newsmen here, he said he would continue in the politics but there is no change in his stand of not to contest in the elections.
Mr Prakash, who is also JD(S) State President said that his party would contest in the byelection to the Ullal Assembly and ruled out having alliance with any other party.
When his attention was drawn to the more power sought by the Lokayukta to take action against earring legislators and IAS officials, Mr Prakash said the issue would be discussed in next cabinet meeting.
