'Jang-e-Azadi' rally participants take ill; admitted to hospitals

Muradabad, May 8 (UNI) Heat and fatigue has led to nearly 30 participants of the 'Jang-e-Azadi' rally being admitted to various hospitals since yesterday after they complained of dehydration and vomitting.

Officials of the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan said the participants had been admitted to hospitals since the rally began yesterday.

''So far nearly 30 participants of the rally have been admitted to hospitals ever since the rally began. Those who were admitted complained of dehydration and fatigue, besides other complications,'' the officials said.

A medical official of Muradnagar denied reports of food poisning and said the rally participants vomitted due to heat and fatigue.
