Five civil officials reshuffled in Punjab

Chandigarh, May 8 (UNI) The Punjab government today ordered the transfer and posting of four IAS and one PCS officers, an official release here stated.

Mr Tajveer Singh is the new Joint Development Commissioner IRD and will also hold additional charge of Planning department in his capacity as Special Secretary. Mr R L Mehta has been posted as Director, Small Savings and ex-officio Special Secretary, Finance.

Mr Satwant Singh has been appointed Additional Secretary, Welfare of SCs and BCs while Mr Chander Shekhar Talwar will be the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Jalandhar. Mr Dharampal PCS will be Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Bathinda.
