DSP Merrill Lynch's 'Micro Cap Fund' to close on May 25

Hyderabad, May 8 (UNI) 'Micro Cap Fund', the New Fund Offer (NFO) from DSP Merrill Lynch will close on May 25, 2007, a company release here said today.

The release also quoted DSP Merrill Lynch Senior Vice President and Head of Equity Soumendra Nath Lahari as saying " India is currently one of the fastest growing economies in the world and has the potential to sustain 8 - 10 per cent GDP growth." He said the NFO offers investors a diversified exposure to the "private equity" style of investing and an opportunity to participate in a variety of ventures that had the potential for higher growth.
