Bhilwara, May 8 (UNI) A local court here has ordered filing of case for defamation under SC and ST Atrocities(Prevention) Act against Rajasthan Rural Devlopment Minister Kalu Lal Gurjar.

Judicial Magistrate(Third) Rakesh Kumar Sharma directed the police to lodge the cases on an application submitted by a functionary of an NGO.

In the application filed last month the complainant Bhanwar Meghvanshi told the court that Mr Gurjar during a TV interview, had made certain objectionable utterances against people of SC and ST communities in reference to their demand of darshan and worship at a local temple.

Meanwhile, respondent minister Mr Gurjar told UNI that he neither had committed infringement of the SC/ST attrocities act nor had any malafide against people of these communities.

He said there was no dispute over dalits' entry to the temple for darshan and he himself had facilitated entry of dalits in the temple.

He said he had full faith in the judiciary and he was sure that he would get justice in the court.
