Cong leaders make baseless allegation: K'taka CM
Sirsi, Karnataka, May 8: Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy said he would quit his post in no time if the Congress in the state could pursue the Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre to waive loans taken by farmers from nationalised banks.
Speaking at a public function en route Tannirkuli Village in Kumta Taluk for his 'Grama Vasthavya' (village stay), the chief minister said the Congress leaders in the state had no work and were making baseless allegations on coalition government in the state on waiver of farmers' loans taken from cooperative banks.
He sought to know why the issue of loan waiver did not figure during the long rule of the Congress in the state.
