Call money opens low, slips to 5.75 pc
Mumbai, May 8 (UNI) Interbank call money rates today opened lower at 5.75-6.00 per cent from their previous day's closing of 6.00-6.50 pc, which entails the availability of cash with the banks.
''Improved liquidity was also mirrored by bids received at the LAF window. Cash supply was sufficient in the market largely due to the government spending along with the RBI intervention in the forex market,'' dealers said.
Inter bank rates are expected to ease amidst liquidity in the market, traders added.
