Antony to inaugurate Punglwa Sainik School

Kohima, May 8 (UNI) Defence Minister A K Antony will inaugurate the first ever 'Sainik' School of Nagaland at Punglwa in Peren district on May 12.

Official sources today here said the Defence Minister will arrive at Dimapur on the same day and will proceed to Punglwa by helicopter to inaugurate the Punglwa Sainik School.

Nagaland Governor K Sankaranarayanan and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio will be present on the occassion.

This institute will be a structured to cater its students with the most advanced education techniques, with well-trained teachers and computer equipped facilites.

The admission process has already been completed and classes have begun.

Sources said that the Defence Minister is likely return to New Delhi the same day.
